Christy Crandell
Administrative Director, Founder
Author: Lost & Found: A Mother and Son Find Victory over Teen Drug Addiction.
Member of the Coalition for Placer Youth

Christy facilitated Parent Project Classes in Placer County for 5 years, counseling hundreds of families, providing education, assessments and referrals to substance abuse programs as well as other family services. Additionally, she served as Parent Outreach Coordinator for Rocklin Unified School District. At Full Circle, Christy is the intake coordinator providing the first contact with families for both the treatment center and Parent Project classes. Christy participates in outreach and education efforts in the community.

Angela Chanter PsyD.
Clinical Director, Founder

Dr. Chanter is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Chanter is in private practice working with children, adolescents, families and individuals using a relational and family systems approach. She has experience with diverse populations and with issues relating to depression, trauma parenting, divorce, grief, substance abuse, life transitions and relationship issues.

Terri Powell
Program Director-Parent Project Director BA Social Work, Founder

Terri works with adolescents providing group and individual guidance counseling. Administrator of the Parent Project and Teen Success program a 10 week program for parents and adolescents who are struggling to navigate the teen years. Terri is in collaboration with several county agencies including Roseville and Rocklin Police departments, Probation and Children System of Care.

Dr. Lakshmi Avala
Medical Director

Dr. Avala is an experienced primary care physician in Pediatric Medicine. She has been in private clinical practice in Roseville for the last 6 years and her medical responsibilities include primary care management of infants, children, adolescents and young adults.  As a parent living and raising her own children in our community, Dr. Avala has a passion for our mission and a “heart for teens”.

 

 

 

Michele Stamas

Parent Project Facilitator

Michele has facilitated Parent Project Classes for the last two years. In her regular life she is a sales rep for Sierra Stationery.  Michele is a proud mom of a young man in recovery and is passionate about helping parents navigate the difficult teen years especially when their teens are engaged in destructive behavior. Michele is a member of the Full Circle Treatment Center Advisory Council and a tireless volunteer for our fund raising efforts.

 

 

Shane Stamas, CADAC Intern

Shane is a recent graduate of Intercoast College and started at FCTC as an intern. He quickly became a member of the team. At Full Circle he co-facilitates the adolescent group and the weekly Parent Project Teen Class.
